Three steps to more profit

Each step has a fixed deliverable and one goal: higher returns, lower costs and less waste. You know in advance what you get and how long it takes, and after each step you decide whether we continue.

What could be better in your business?

Choose your sector and your goal. Recognise the challenges, discover what we look at, and see the expertise we bring in.

1 Your sector

2 Your goal

You may recognise this

  • Occupancy is good, but there's not much left at the bottom line.
  • A big share of my bookings comes through platforms that charge high commission.

We put your profit and loss account next to those of similar businesses and show where your margin is leaking away.

What we look at

  • Occupancy and RevPAR
  • Staff cost per room or cover
  • Share of direct bookings
  • Margin per guest

Who we bring in

  • Operations & finance
  • Sales
  • Marketing

What a guest visit tells me about your margin

Your figures show what happens. A visit shows why. I book, arrive and pay like any guest (with a service firm, I ask for a quote) and link every moment to a number in your accounts.

  1. Moment 1: Booking

I book the way your guests do: through Google, a platform or directly. I count the steps and see who takes a commission.

  2. Moment 2: Arrival

I visit on an ordinary weekday and look at occupancy, staffing and the first impression, and at how well they match.

    The number behind it Occupancy

  3. Moment 3: Ordering or checking in

I note what I am offered and what I am not: the upgrade, the extra, the dessert. That is where your margin per guest is made.

  4. Moment 4: The bill

I note how many people serve me and how long the bill takes. That says more about your staffing costs than the rota does.

  5. Moment 5: The review at home

Afterwards I score the visit the way a guest would, and compare it with your reviews and your competitors'.

Five disciplines under one roof

For the execution, the right specialist for every question, working from the same plan towards the same goal: more profit.

  • Operations & finance

Cost prices, purchasing, staffing and processes, and a clear view of where your margin is made.

  • Marketing

Positioning, target groups, visibility, and attracting and keeping the right customers and guests.

  • Sales

A stronger commercial approach, making more of sales opportunities and growing revenue that pays.

  • AI implementation

Choosing the right tools and helping your team bring them in and use them every day.

  • Exit preparation

Improving performance, structure and value ahead of a sale or succession.

Advice from an owner, not an agency.

I built my own hospitality and events business, so I know staff, purchasing, seasons and margin from the inside. That's why I look at your numbers the way you do: as an owner.

  • Numbers, guests and market in one analysis

I combine your profit and loss account with my own visit and a comparison with your competitors.

  • Fixed steps, and you decide after each one

Every step has a fixed deliverable and lead time. You are never locked in.

  • One person who keeps the overview

I stay your point of contact, even when specialists join in.
